The Glen dominated the first quarter, leading 0-5 to no score and things were looking positive and indeed were denied a Michael Murphy goal as his fisted effort rebounded off the bar. Naomh Mhuire cleared the ball and sent a high looping ball into the Glenswilly square and somehow ended in the back of the net. Half time score was 1-04 to 0-07.
