SHOCK AS ANOTHER PERSON DIES ON DONEGAL’S ROADS IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS

first_imgA second person has been killed on Donegal’s roads in less than 24 hours.The 70 year old man died outside Donegal Town when the jeep he was driving was involved in a crash with another jeep at around 10pm.A number of other people were injured in the crash which happened Laghey and Ballintra. The road will be closed to traffic while a technical investigation of the scene takes place today.The accident comes less than 24 hours after a young man was killed in Burnfoot.Marty Strain, 19, was a passeger in a car which crashed at Toban, Burnfoot at 4.30am in the early hours of Sunday morning.Mr Strain, from Burnfoot, was friends with John Hegarty, who also perished on the same road in July.
