Rains arrive in Ohio this afternoon and reach their zenith overnight tonight throgh the first half of tomorrow.We are back to dry weather behind this little wave tomorrow afternoon and eening. Clouds light rains will be around in the morning, but then we see sunshine from there, and we have a very similar pattern through Sunday. Temps will be above normal.Rains arrive Monday and continue through Tuesday. We expect showers and thunderstorms that can trigger rains of .25”-1” with windy conditions. The map at right shows rains through Tuesday. Thunderstorms will be needed to get into the upper end of the rain range, but we do see a spreading of the thunderstorm threat. We turn partly sunny behind the system for Wednesday the 27th and Thursday the 29th. The map at right shows moisture potential from the entire up coming 10 day forecast window.Models are developing some disagreement going into the extended 11-16 day forecast window. The American models continue to suggest a very active period with several inches of rain likely. However, other models are not as bullish on rain. For now, we look for rains from the 29th through the 31st, but they are up in the air in terms of overall intensity. For now, we will keep rain totals at 1-2 inches for the very least and continue to watch the event unfold.
