Labour TD fully cooperating in Garda probe as 4yearold knocked down

first_imgGARDAI ARE INVESTIGATING an incident in which a Labour TD was driving a car and a four-year-old boy was knocked down.The accident is believed to have happened when the boy was walking across a pedestrian crossing with grandfather, who was not injured, on the Sarsfield Road, Ballyfermot, Dublin at around 3pm.The boy was taken by taxi to Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin where he was treated for minor injuries and discharged  a short time later.A spokesperson for the Labour party has confirmed to the that the Labour TD and former Lord Mayor of Dublin, Michael Conaghan was involved in the road accident.
