Rob Lowe wore a bland NFL hat to a bland 49ers vs. Packers game, and fans made plenty of jokes

first_imgShortly after his appearance on TV, Lowe was ridiculed on Twitter. He eventually saw some of the discussion and chimed in with a response.I didn’t expect my hat to be the most interesting part of this game! https://t.co/F54cTppe7C— Rob Lowe (@RobLowe) January 20, 2020Unfortunately this does not answer the question as to why Lowe owns this.Nevertheless, Twitter had its fun mocking the actor.Rob Lowe just rooting for a good game and success of the league pic.twitter.com/bPERC9oCGa— Big Cat (@BarstoolBigCat) January 20, 2020hey Rob Lowe which team are you rooting for“uhhh… the NFL” pic.twitter.com/BAdlRyk6gD— Rodger Sherman (@rodger) January 20, 2020hi I’m Rob Lowe and when I watch football I root for the [checks hat] NFL pic.twitter.com/YuOQNYzk5u— shauna (@goldengateblond) January 20, 2020Rob Lowe’s favorite player is Roger Goodell pic.twitter.com/WiYWNUqYPW— PFF (@PFF) January 20, 2020“Glad Rob Lowe got my hat in the mail” pic.twitter.com/2I80523Swa— Bryan Fischer (@BryanDFischer) January 20, 2020Rob Lowe’s favorite NFL star is the guy who does video replay. pic.twitter.com/avmuZihTLx— SportsPickle (@sportspickle) January 20, 2020Rob Lowe loves all 32 teams equally pic.twitter.com/RF9asBb2tA— Curtis Rogers (@AKidFromKent) January 20, 2020Rob Lowe is literally the only person who owns an NFL hat pic.twitter.com/NkZ0NtfAE9— Andrew Joseph (@AndyJ0seph) January 20, 2020When Rob Lowe goes to a concert instead of getting a souvenir band t-shirt he just gets a shirt that says “music” pic.twitter.com/PeEINJRiHs— Scott Williams (@jswilliams1962) January 20, 2020 Typically you’d only see such hats worn by officials during a game. But for some reason, Lowe owns this piece of merchandise (or it was given to him by the NFL for all his camera time on Fox’s broadcast) and thought it was the perfect accessory to add while attending today’s game. Lowe is a Colts fan, so it makes a little sense why he’s not wearing a 49ers hat or a cheesehead to support the Packers.MORE: Highlights and more from 49ers vs PackersAlso, he’s likely only in attendance as part of a branding deal with Fox as the network promoted its television show “9-1-1: Lone Star,” which stars Lowe, throughout the broadcast. Actor Rob Lowe was in attendance for the NFC championship game between the 49ers and Packers, and he was sporting some interesting attire.last_img read more

Survey suggests virus outbreak to slow the economy

first_imgOMAHA, Neb. (AP) — A new survey of bankers in rural parts of 10 Plains and Western states suggests they expect the economy to slow down over the next few months as the nation deals with the coronavirus outbreak. The overall index for the region fell to 35.5 in March from February’s healthy 51.6 reading. Any score below 50 suggests a shrinking economy. Creighton University economist Ernie Goss said 61 percent of the bankers surveyed expect the measures being taken to fight the coronavirus to lead to a recession. Bankers from Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming were surveyed.last_img
